Away from the maddening crowd and in the lap of the nature is the location of Shiv Shakti Yogpeeth. I was there for a yoga retreat and had a wonderful time. The rooms are very basic but Ramji and his support staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Ramji is a very kind soul. The food here tasted like homemade. It was fresh and healthy.

Amidst prestine nature, mellow sounding of the waterfall while you’re having tea in the garden. No traffic. Lone winding road leading to it. Super friendly staff. Great food. The PERFECT environment for Yoga or Retreat. Just a walk away from Tapovan.

You have to leave your car at down and take all your bags through rough road all alone to stay. They never mention the tarrif of the food they provide. They never want to book food from there menu in breakfast,lunch or dinner. They gave 3 different rooms for 3 days. They want us to give sympathy for their fake story. Don't trust them. Ask price of each item they serve to you. Don't take their meal. Better choose from the menu or go down you will get cheap and more tastier.

Close to the city and the excitement of Rishikesh, yet far from the noise and the crowds, this is a very nice retreat with daily yoga sessions and nourishing food for the mind and body. Ideal for yoga lovers and for Hindu spirituality aficionados. The family running the place can transform your holiday into a real Indian journey, as they are lovely and they manage an enthusiastic team.

The environment around the stay was very amazing, it is very close to a lot of waterfalls. The cafe on the stage is very nice and the food is very good. The staff and the owner are also very nice and helpful. I will recommend everyone to stay there for at least a few days if you are going to Rishikesh. The location is a little far from the main road.

The place is Top on the Hill and Is Really Top for Everything it provides like the warmth, freshly cooked food,view of very Beautiful mountains, Good people and top of everything a space to find your Inner self. Ram ji Is amazing and so down to earth. Thank you Shiv Shakthi Yogpeeth. Everything is more Worthy than what we have spent for. The space is Really vibrant for people looking to find yourself.

SSY is tucked away in a quiet corner of Rishikesh, where you can become one with nature. This setting itself makes it a perfect location for a holistic yoga program or if you are looking to take some time off from the hustle of the city life. Rooms are good, with basic amenities in place. Support staff is helpful. Their cafe serves a fair variety of dishes, although found the pricing a bit on the higher side. All-in-all, a worthwhile experience! Ram ji & team, you are doing a wonderful job! 😊👍
